




Fellows must be:
* US cititzens or permanent residents;
* Enrolled in a PhD program at NJIT (CSLA, NCE or CCS);
* Maintaining a 3.5 or higher GPA;
* Interested in improving and enriching the educational experience of Newark high school students;
* Experienced, in some way, in communicating, teaching and learning novel ways of imparting fundamental science and math concepts by involving computation.
C2PRISM Fellows should possess superior communication skills, an affinity for inquiry-based learning, and enough flexibility in their schedules to accommodate a minimum of two days per week to be dedicated to the project. It is essential that your thesis advisor support your efforts. We therefore encourage doctoral candidates who have completed their coursework and qualifying examinations to apply.
